submitted by Dana G. - |Recommended: NoWe are finally out of here I am looking at all the mixed reviews and I feel grateful that we are leaving. I’m sure the management is happy too. I don’t care how low budget this place is. When you pay for services you should and would expect better than what we’ve gotten the last two years. When we moved in, we had two pages for our punch in sheets. A few words for you, code enforcement. There are things that must be maintained and code enforcement will get it there. Also, they do have a parent company and a president. Lastly, the question, would you recommend to a friend, we put NO, wonder if it will change when it’s posted

I wonder what improvements were made in the leasing office due to responding back to residents about whatever their concerns may be. I know for a fact management has never responded to any of our concerns. Like as to why this past January's rent was higher but as usual never got any response. I do see they do like to respond to all reviews though.

submitted by Rhea B. - |Recommended: NoWhere do I start let’s see. First when we trying to rent an apartment and could never get in touch with anyone. The rep who was helping us at that time apparently moved and no one let us know what was going on. I should have taken as a sign to rent elsewhere. Second the floors creak with every step. Ground floor stays cold. Third if you want privacy you won’t get it here. You can hear your neighbors having sex, arguing, loud music the walls are that thin. Last but not least if you don’t mind dog shit everywhere. No one picks up any dog shit not even maintenance who do a lot of driving their golf carts around.

submitted by Evaristo A. - |Recommended: NoSounded Like A Good Idea But No — I liked the idea of living here but our rent is 1190 but thats a lie. Literally this month is 1433 and that’s crazy. They say its the because the utilities go up depending on maintenance like watering the grass. Super disappointed
response from property -Hello Evarsito, Thank you for your feed back. we understand that there is a concern for the water bill this month. When we receive the water bill a portion of it is covered by the owner to cover things like watering the grass and leaks. The rest is then divided up between residents in accordance to the formula detailed in your lease. Unfortunately we are still subject to the rates set by he City of Aurora. This mean when they increase their rates for water usage it is unfortunately felt by residents and the landlord. Recently Aurora Hills participated in a water conservation project, by adding low gallon per flush toilets and low gallons per minute faucets and shower heads. Remember that utilities are billed in the rears, so with our hoping to see a decrease in water usage over the next few months.

I had to call and see if the apartment was still available no one contacted either me or my husband. When we did get a hold of someone come to find out the leasing agent had moved and that’s the reason for no one returning emails, calls. Next where we live is the ok. Ground level is nice but to here every creaking and walking from the upstairs neighbors. Also you can hear everything from arguments to people having sex. I could even hear an alarm from someone’s phone. This what I would tell others and it’s the truth. If you want any kind of response from management or the leasing office Good Luck. The only reason for us to renew is pricing.

submitted by Ayanna C. - |Recommended: YesWouldn’t Stay Here Again. — We moved here in January 2021, and I won’t say to much but we signed a lease for a 2bed 2bath for 1,245 a month which seamed reasonable regarding the fact that majority of the other apartments are more expensive. But I was told my rent should be going up to pretty much 1,500 for literally no upgrades, no changes, and all because we have a new owner Definitely would not recommend it’s not even worth the price I pay now

Aurora Hills if necessary implements reasonable rental increases in conjunction with the market changes at the time of renewal. Since your lease does not expire until January 2022, it would be too early to quote you a renewal rate or say weather or not you will have a increase. Kind Regards
